These ex-wine French oak barrels have been carefully reconditioned and sourced directly from The Gospel Whiskey. Professionally handled and maintained, each barrel offers reliable structure and balanced oak character, making them well suited for distilling, brewing, and barrel-aging applications.

Previously used for wine maturation and never filled with spirits, these barrels have been lightly shaved and re-charred, refreshing the internal surface and restoring oak activity for their next use.

1st Life:

These barrels began their life in the wine industry, crafted from premium French oak and used for wine maturation across multiple fills, developing rich and balanced oak character.

2nd Life:

They were then professionally reconditioned, undergoing a light shave and light char to refresh the oak and prepare them for further use.

3rd Life:

These barrels are now ready for their next home - whether in a distillery, brewery, or winery. With no prior spirit fills, they offer excellent potential for first-fill spirit maturation or for use in bold beers such as stouts, porters, sours, and other barrel-aged applications.
